ABU BAKR ISLAMIC SCHOOL
Welcome to ABIS – Where Faith Inspires Excellence
At ABIS, we are dedicated to nurturing well-rounded individuals who excel academically, grow spiritually, and lead with integrity. Our mission is to blend the rich traditions of Islamic education with a modern, dynamic curriculum, creating an environment where students thrive both in this world and the Hereafter.

ABOUT US
Many years ago, we started as a small group of local families who wanted to teach their children the Deen of Islam and the Quran. Learning began in a local mum’s conservatory, progressing to Manor Community College as more children attended, and then Abu Bakr Islamic School was established at The Grove Primary School in September 1993.
Alhamdu-Lillah, for over 30 years now, we have grown as a school providing Islamic and Quranic Arabic education to children, aged 5 – 12 years old, in Cambridgeshire and the surrounding counties. We have a strong team of diverse and dedicated teachers, teaching assistants and young helpers who voluntarily offer their time and commitment every Saturday to teach.
Our journey has been an inspiring one and every day we thank Allah (SWT)
for His blessings and support in keeping us all going!
